The
research on Thermal Energy Storage started
in the year 1993 by Dr. R. Velraj has
motivated several researchers in India
to carry out their research in the field
of thermal storage and this has raised
the level of our country to the
3rd position in this field of research,
next to China & U.S.A in terms of
research publications. Also, this significant
contribution made Anna University to become
the seventh University
world-wide.

He
has published more than 150 research papers
in reputed international journals.

His present scientific citation is about
4346 with H-index of 34
for the research contributions.
-
The number of citations for my research
articles in the year 2016 & 2017 are
833 & 912 respectively.
This record is the highest
in Anna University for the said years..

wise Biomass resource assessment
study for Tamil Nadu”
